Have you ever wanted to take a picture of an object but not all the mess in the background? Wouldn't it nice to have something that doesn't require complicated greenscreen and complex editing?
The idea is to create an iOS and Android mobile app that lets you take a picture of an object and automatically removes all the background. The app uses a Background Key as opposed to a Chroma Key.
How does it work?
Before taking a picture of the object, you simply take a picture of the background. Then the app will do a pixel compare and removes the background and replaces it with a transparent background. You can set the tolerance slider to adjust the sensitivity level.
The app could also remove the background from a video when you fixed the camera in one spot. This feature allows you to overlay excellent backdrops without complicated software and equipment.
